Uwe Scholz Legacy has been entrusted with the artistic legacy of the choreographer Uwe Scholz (1958 - 2004) since 2026.

Our mission is to keep Uwe Scholz's artistic legacy alive and relevant for future generations.

In order to preserve the work of this important choreographer, who died too young, and to ensure his artistic integrity once and for all, we have transferred the exclusive rights to a global corporation.

Uwe Scholz Legacy is dedicated to preserving and performing the choreographic legacy of Uwe Scholz. Our goal is to carry his vision and creativity into the future. We consider it our mission to preserve the significant artistic legacy of Uwe Scholz and his humanistic message for future generations.
Scholz was one of the few who could choreograph for large ensembles. He understood the beauty of classical dance. He trusted it and showcased it brilliantly. And convincingly, too.
(Klaus Geitel, 2005)
In recent decades, contemporary stage dance has developed enormous physical dynamism and virtuosity. However, the focus on physicality has often led to a reduction in the relationship between choreography and music.
In our work with companies around the world, we are able to sensitize and inspire dancers and audiences for an intense dialogue between musical colors and structures and dance interpretation.

What do we have to contribute?
- All rights to the work of Uwe Scholz
- Profound knowledge of performance practice and the genesis of the works
- A large archive of dance scores, dramaturgical writings, and video recordings of rehearsals with Uwe Scholz, as well as productions of his works.
